IGRM DR Congo: Light Growing Through Faith and Compassion

Strengthening Communities Through Worship, Discipleship, Care, and Hope

Between May 11 and May 17, 2026, International Gospel Response Ministries continued serving communities across the Democratic Republic of Congo through worship, discipleship, mentorship, pastoral care, leadership development, and practical skills training.

Throughout the week, people gathered in homes, churches, and community spaces with a shared desire to grow in faith, encourage one another, and support their communities through compassion and action.

What continues to grow across IGRM DR Congo is more than weekly activities. Relationships are becoming stronger. Faith is becoming active in daily life. Young people are discovering purpose. Families are finding encouragement. Local leaders are learning to serve with humility and integrity.

Families received prayer and encouragement during difficult situations.
Community leaders gathered to learn how to serve others with wisdom, humility, and compassion.

Across every gathering, the Gospel was shared not only through words, but through kindness, listening, mentorship, practical support, and faithful presence.

People were reminded that they are not forgotten.

In communities facing uncertainty and daily struggles, these moments became places of peace, belonging, encouragement, and renewed strength.

Faith continued growing through everyday acts of care and service.

 A Story of Encouragement

One community member shared:

“I came feeling tired and discouraged, but I left with peace and new strength to continue helping my family and others.”

Stories like this continue appearing across communities week after week.

Lives are changing quietly but deeply.
Young people are gaining confidence.
Families are finding support.
