Faith in Motion: Empowering Hope and Transformation Across Refugee Communities
This week, International Gospel Response Ministries (IGRM) continued advancing its mission across Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kalobeyei Settlement, and nearby host villages in northwestern Kenya.
Through seven worship services, seven Sunday school classes, five Bible study groups, four fellowship gatherings, and life skills workshops, we saw faith in action—bringing spiritual renewal, unity, and practical empowerment to families facing hardship.
Our mission remains unwavering: to disciple, empower, and restore hope among the most vulnerable—showing that the Gospel transforms both hearts and communities.

Weekly Highlights and Impact
Seven Worship Services — Restoring Faith and Joy
Seven powerful worship gatherings filled tents and open spaces with heartfelt songs, testimonies, and intercessions. Refugees found renewed courage, peace, and hope—experiencing firsthand that even in crisis, Christ remains present and faithful.
Seven Sunday School Classes — Nurturing the Next Generation
Children participated in seven vibrant Sunday school sessions filled with Bible stories, songs, and creative activities. Teachers emphasized faith, respect, and perseverance, building spiritual and moral foundations for the next generation of community leaders.
Five Bible Study Groups — Multiplying Disciple-Makers
Five small Bible study groups met across the camps, where participants studied Scripture, practiced leadership, and mentored peers. Several attendees have begun forming new mini study circles, proving that disciple-making continues to multiply organically.
Four Fellowship Gatherings — Building Unity and Healing
Four fellowship meetings brought together refugees and host families in shared worship and storytelling. These gatherings strengthened friendship, understanding, and emotional healing, building bridges of peace between diverse cultures and faith experiences.
Life Skills & Empowerment Workshops — Equipping for Resilience
This week’s life skills sessions reached even more women, youth, and caregivers. Topics included trauma recovery, family communication, and income-generating skills. Participants left confident, hopeful, and equipped to rebuild their lives with dignity and faith.
Community Meal & Children’s Outreach — Love in Action
A joyful meal with children and caregivers provided nourishment, laughter, and fellowship. For many, it was a rare and meaningful meal—a visible reminder that the Gospel is lived not only in words but also through acts of compassion and presence.
