Walking Together in Faith and Hope

During the week of June 29–July 5, 2026, International Gospel Response Ministries (IGRM Canada) continued serving refugee communities in Kenya through worship, discipleship, children’s ministry, leadership development, pastoral care, and practical support.

Throughout the week, churches, families, children, youth, and community members came together to seek God, encourage one another, and grow stronger in faith. Every ministry activity created new opportunities to share God’s love through both His Word and compassionate action.

Each day reminded us that even simple acts of service can bring hope, strengthen lives, and encourage brighter futures.

Throughout the week:

 Worship and prayer strengthened faith and trust in God.

 Children discovered biblical truths through joyful learning.

 Emerging leaders gained practical guidance for ministry.

 Families experienced prayer, care, and encouragement.

 Refugees learned practical skills for daily life.

 Youth grew in leadership and servant-hearted character.

 Vocational training supported confidence and future opportunities.

 Community fellowship strengthened unity and mutual care.

Every gathering became a reminder that God’s love brings people together.

Hope continued to rise.

Faith continued to grow.

Communities continued to move forward together.

A Story of Encouragement

One ministry leader shared that after a home fellowship, a family expressed renewed hope because they felt remembered, cared for, and encouraged through prayer and God’s Word.

Moments like these remind us that lasting change often begins with simple acts of love, faithful service, and people walking alongside one another.

When hope is shared, hearts become stronger.

When God’s Word is lived out, communities become healthier.

When people serve together, lives are transformed.

Growing Stronger Together

During June 29–July 5, ministry activities continued creating places where people could worship, learn, encourage one another, and build lasting relationships.

Children from different countries and cultures learned together, played together, and discovered the love of Christ in welcoming environments.

Young people continued growing as future leaders, while families received personal encouragement through home fellowship and pastoral care.

Practical training also helped refugees build confidence, develop useful skills, and prepare for future opportunities with dignity and hope.

Each activity strengthened faith while helping build stronger churches, healthier families, and more caring communities.

Key Ministry Activities & Impact

 Worship, Prayer, and Bible Teaching — 8 Sessions

Eight gatherings provided opportunities for worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and spiritual encouragement. God’s Word inspired people to remain faithful and trust Him in every season.

 Children’s Ministries — 8 Sessions

Children enjoyed Bible stories, songs, art, games, and creative learning in safe and loving environments. Social activities brought children from different countries and cultures together, helping them build friendships, learn from one another, and grow in faith.

 Discipleship Multiplication & Church Planting — 2 Activities

Emerging leaders received biblical teaching and practical encouragement to make disciples, strengthen churches, and faithfully serve their communities.

 Home Fellowship & Pastoral Care Visits — 3 Visits

Families welcomed ministry teams into their homes for prayer, fellowship, biblical encouragement, listening, and compassionate pastoral care.

 Life-Skills and Employability Foundations for Refugees — 2 Sessions

Practical lessons focused on family care, responsibility, resilience, and everyday life skills that encourage confidence, dignity, and positive living.

 Youth Mentorship Circles — 2 Sessions

Young people developed leadership, teamwork, integrity, and servant-hearted attitudes while encouraging one another to become positive examples within their communities.

 Skills & Vocational Training Activities — 3 Activities

Practical training continued equipping individuals with useful skills that encourage self-reliance, personal growth, and future opportunities.

 Community Care & Fellowship — 1 Session

Community members gathered for fellowship, prayer, friendship, emotional support, and spiritual encouragement, strengthening unity and reminding one another that no one walks alone.
