International Gospel Response Ministries (IGRM) empowers Christian leaders worldwide through simple, multilingual online training in English and Swahili. Each week, leaders from refugee camps, villages, towns, and cities learn to multiply disciples, strengthen churches, serve communities, and raise new leaders through the Three E’s: Empower, Engage, and Entrust.
A Quick Snapshot of the Week
This week, IGRM connected leaders from Africa, the Americas, Europe, and South Asia through four online leadership sessions. Participants joined from refugee camps, remote rural communities, and busy cities, showing again how God uses technology to unite the global Church.
Our discussions focused on:
- Leaders who multiply other leaders
- The Three E’s Strategy—Empower, Engage, Entrust
- The Church as God’s welcoming family on earth
- How to identify and develop potential leaders
These sessions helped leaders grow spiritually, think practically, and plan how to strengthen their own communities.
Connecting Leaders Across Continents
Leaders from Kenya, South Sudan, Malawi, DR Congo, Bangladesh, Colombia, Canada, Germany, and other countries met for an inspiring week of learning.
A leader from DR Congo shared,
“When I join these sessions, I feel part of one global family. I am learning how to raise leaders who can help our people grow.”
Many participants returned for multiple sessions, showing deep hunger for leadership growth and discipleship training.
Four Leadership Development Sessions — Simple Lessons, Deep Impact
Each session was designed to help leaders multiply leaders in their own contexts. Using simple biblical principles and real-life examples, we covered:
1. Leaders Who Multiply Other Leaders
Participants learned that true leaders do not work alone—they train, mentor, and release others to serve. Multiplying leaders creates healthier churches and stronger communities.
2. The Three E’s Strategy — Empower, Engage, Entrust
We explored a simple and powerful process:
- Empower – give people the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need
- Engage – walk with them, support them, and serve together
- Entrust – allow them to lead while offering mentorship
This approach helps leaders grow naturally and sustainably.
3. The Church as God’s Family on Earth
We reflected on how the Church is called to be a home for everyone—every culture, tribe, refugee, child, woman, man, and youth.
A leader from Germany said,
“This teaching reminds me that our churches must open doors, not close them.”
4. How to Spot Potential Leaders
Participants learned simple practical signs to identify future leaders, such as:
- Faithfulness in small responsibilities
- A willing heart
- A spirit of service
- Passion for learning and helping others
These insights will help leaders build strong teams and healthy ministries.
Why This Week Matters
This week strengthened IGRM’s mission to raise humble, Christ-centered, multiplying leaders in the hardest places.
The sessions:
- Encouraged a global culture of discipleship and mentorship
- Gave leaders practical tools they can use immediately
- Helped churches and ministries across continents grow as one global family
- Inspired leaders to reach refugees, youth, women, and marginalized communities
Looking Ahead
In the coming weeks, IGRM will continue to:
- Train leaders in English, Swahili, and French
- Expand mentorship spaces for youth and women
- Build simple leadership tools for churches in rural and refugee settings
- Strengthen global connections between leaders across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas
