  • Service Actions: 2 small acts of care improving hygiene and learning spaces

Over 200 refugee children, youth, and adults were encouraged through weekly activities.

Faith in Action

This week, IGRM Kenya focused on faithfulness and care. We continued strong worship and children’s ministry while slowing other activities in a wise way. This helped families rest, talk, pray, and feel supported.

“Our hearts feel calm when we gather to pray.” – Refugee mother, Kakuma

Your prayers and support help make these moments possible.

Highlights

Worship Services

Worship took place in chapels, shelters, and open spaces. Songs, prayer, and Bible sharing reminded families that God has not forgotten them.

Sunday School

Children learned through Bible stories, songs, drawings, and games. Lessons focused on love, kindness, obedience, and trusting God even in hard times.

Youth Mentorship

Youth met in small groups to talk about good character, teamwork, and serving others like Jesus. Leaders listened closely and encouraged hope for the future.

Life-Skills Support

Adults learned simple ideas about saving money, planning small work, and staying emotionally strong during stress and uncertainty.

Community Care & Fellowship

Families gathered for prayer and encouragement. These quiet moments brought comfort to those facing loss, fear, or long waiting.

Service Actions

Volunteers cleaned shared paths, supported hygiene efforts, and provided simple learning materials to help children continue studying.
