A Story of Hope
During one of the community gatherings this week, a participant shared:
“When we come together, we remember that we are not alone. We pray together, learn together, and encourage each other to keep moving forward.”
These simple words reflect the heart of IGRM’s ministry.
Many families face daily challenges, yet they continue demonstrating resilience, courage, and faith. Through consistent presence, encouragement, and practical support, communities are discovering that hope becomes stronger when people walk together.
Small acts of kindness, faithful service, and genuine relationships continue creating meaningful impact throughout refugee communities.
Walking Together Through Faith and Compassion
From June 1 to June 7, 2026, IGRM Kenya remained actively present among refugee communities in Kakuma and Kalobeyei.
Throughout the week, local leaders walked alongside children, youth, families, and community members through worship, mentoring, pastoral care, discipleship, skills development, and community fellowship.
Rather than simply delivering activities, IGRM Kenya focuses on building relationships, encouraging local leadership, strengthening families, and creating spaces where people can grow spiritually, socially, and practically.
Each gathering provided opportunities for encouragement, learning, friendship, and personal development while helping strengthen community connections across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Through 29 activities, IGRM Kenya continued creating opportunities for communities to learn, worship, connect, and grow together.
The week was marked by encouragement, spiritual growth, practical learning, relationship building, and community support.
Every activity reflected IGRM’s commitment to bringing hope, dignity, compassion, and transformation to refugee communities.
