Bringing Hope, Faith, and Resilience to Refugee Communities
This week, International Gospel Response Ministries (IGRM) in Kenya and the refugee camps saw inspiring moments of spiritual renewal, community connection, and practical support. Despite the challenges of displacement, believers are growing stronger in faith, children are thriving, and vulnerable families are gaining tools for self-reliance — proving that hope can flourish even in the most difficult circumstances.

Key Achievements This Week
18 Worship Gatherings Across Camps and Host Communities
Communities united in praise and prayer, finding strength in God’s Word and encouragement amid daily challenges.
210 Children Engaged in Sunday Schools
Children explored Bible stories, moral lessons, and life skills, laying the foundation for resilient, faith-filled futures.
80 Women Empowered
Through spiritual encouragement, mentorship, and practical guidance, women gained confidence to face everyday challenges with dignity and hope.
50 Refugee Mothers Trained in Self-Reliance
Single and vulnerable mothers received training in income-generating activities, trauma recovery, and faith-based resilience strategies — enabling them to provide for their families while nurturing hope.
42 Widows Visited and Supported
Pastoral visits and humanitarian assistance brought comfort, encouragement, and prayer to widows, showing them that they are remembered and valued in their communities.
10 Bible Study Groups Established
Small groups are equipping believers to lead, disciple others, and share the Gospel, multiplying spiritual leaders in both refugee and host communities.
7 Fellowship Services Held
These gatherings strengthened unity, healed social divisions, and reminded communities that the Gospel creates a sense of family where isolation once prevailed.

Why This Work Matters
In refugee contexts, faith and practical support are inseparable. Worship, prayer, and Bible studies strengthen spiritual courage. Livelihood training, resilience programs, and community care provide practical survival tools. Together, these efforts:
- Restore dignity to vulnerable individuals
- Equip women to lead and provide for their families
- Nurture children with faith, values, and hope
- Multiply local leaders who share Christ’s love
Looking Ahead
IGRM remains committed to:
Expanding resilience programs for mothers, youth, and children
Establishing more Bible study groups to cultivate new disciples
Partnering with global organizations to extend humanitarian aid and long-term hope
Every prayer, donation, and partnership transforms lives. Together, we are reaching more families, multiplying leaders, and spreading light in communities where darkness once reigned.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Thomas
