IGRM Kenya: Faith in Action, Hope in Motion Weekly Report

Organization: International Gospel Response Ministries (IGRM Canada)

Snapshot for Quick Readers

29 activities. One week of faith in action. Communities encouraged, children nurtured, youth empowered, families supported, and hope strengthened across refugee communities.

This week, IGRM Kenya continued serving refugee communities in Kakuma and Kalobeyei through worship, discipleship, children’s ministry, youth mentorship, family care, practical skills development, and community fellowship.

From May 25 to May 31, 2026, local leaders remained actively present among the people—listening, encouraging, teaching, mentoring, and walking alongside families through everyday challenges and opportunities.

Throughout the week, communities came together to learn, worship, grow, and support one another. Every gathering became a reminder that hope grows stronger when people stand together in faith and compassion.

Hope continues to grow.
Communities continue to rise.
Lives continue to be encouraged.

A Story of Hope

During a fellowship gathering this week, one participant shared:

“Every time we come together, we leave stronger than when we arrived. We encourage one another, pray together, and remember that there is still hope ahead.”

These simple words capture the heart of community ministry.

When people feel seen, heard, and supported, hope begins to grow again. Small acts of kindness, consistent encouragement, and faithful presence can make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Walking Together Through Faith and Compassion

Throughout the week, IGRM Kenya remained committed to serving refugee communities through worship services, children’s ministries, discipleship gatherings, youth mentorship, family visits, practical skills development, and community fellowship.

Through 29 activities, IGRM Kenya reached and encouraged children, youth, families, and community members across multiple areas of ministry.

Many individuals participated in more than one activity during the week, reflecting growing trust, stronger relationships, and deeper community engagement.

Every gathering created opportunities for learning, friendship, encouragement, spiritual growth, personal development, and mutual support.
