IGRM DR Congo: Faith Growing, Hope Rising, Communities Serving

International Gospel Response Ministries (IGRM Canada) equips disciples and leaders to transform communities through the Gospel and compassionate action—bringing the whole Gospel to the whole person.

🔎 Snapshot for Quick Readers

From September 28 to October 4, 2026, IGRM DR Congo continued serving churches, families, children, youth, and emerging leaders through worship, Bible teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, leadership development, practical skills, and community care.

The ministry created opportunities for people to grow in faith, learn from God’s Word, build relationships, develop useful skills, and serve others with compassion.

Through the faithful service of local ministry leaders, IGRM continued to bring spiritual encouragement and practical care into everyday community life. The work remained focused on people, relationships, and the practical needs of families and communities.

🙏 Growing Faith

Worship, Prayer, and Bible Teaching brought people together for worship, prayer, Bible learning, and spiritual encouragement.

The Saturday and Sunday worship gatherings provided opportunities for people to hear God’s Word, pray together, worship, and encourage one another. These gatherings gave individuals and families time to come together, listen to biblical teaching, and strengthen their connection with God and the church community.

Bible teaching helped connect faith with everyday life. Prayer and fellowship also gave people opportunities to encourage one another and remain strong in their Christian journey.

These gatherings helped strengthen faith and encouraged people to live out their Christian faith in daily life.

🎨 Supporting Children and Young People

Children’s Ministries created caring spaces where children could learn through Christian teaching and age-appropriate activities.

Children had opportunities to learn Bible truths, develop positive values, build friendships, and enjoy a welcoming environment where they could grow and learn together. The ministry seeks to provide children with positive experiences where they can learn about God, relate well with others, and develop values that can guide them in everyday life.

Youth Mentorship & Life-Skills Circles encouraged young people to develop character, responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and practical life skills.

The ministry gave young people opportunities to ask questions, learn from others, build confidence, and think about positive ways to serve their families and communities. Mentorship also created space for young people to receive encouragement and guidance as they develop their abilities and consider their responsibilities to others.

🌱 Developing Leaders and Churches

Discipleship Multiplication & Church Planting encouraged believers and emerging leaders to grow as disciples, share their faith, and help others follow Jesus.

The focus was on growing in faith, learning to serve others, and helping strengthen Christian communities. Discipleship encourages believers not only to learn God’s Word but also to put their faith into practice through service, care, and faithful Christian living.

Leadership & Skills Development provided opportunities for learning, leadership growth, and practical development. These efforts encouraged emerging leaders to serve with humility, responsibility, and care.

Developing local leaders is important for the continued strength of churches and communities. Through learning, mentoring, and practical service, emerging leaders are encouraged to use their abilities to support others and contribute positively to the communities where they serve.

Through the faithful service of local ministry leaders, these activities continue to support spiritual growth and leadership development within churches and communities.

🏠 Caring for Communities

Home Fellowship & Pastoral Care Visits provided opportunities for prayer, listening, encouragement, and personal pastoral care within homes and families.

These visits helped create space for people to share, receive encouragement, pray together, and remain connected to the church community. Personal visits also provide an opportunity for local leaders to listen to families and respond with care, respect, and prayer.

Skills & Vocational Training supported practical learning and personal development. The focus was on useful skills that can support everyday life, confidence, responsibility, and future opportunities.

Practical learning is an important part of caring for the whole person. Alongside spiritual encouragement, people can benefit from opportunities to develop useful abilities, learn responsibility, and prepare for everyday challenges.

These activities reflect IGRM’s commitment to caring for the whole person through the Gospel and compassionate action.

💛 Bringing the Whole Gospel to the Whole Person

IGRM DR Congo continues to bring together faith, discipleship, pastoral care, leadership development, youth mentorship, children’s ministry, and practical learning.

The purpose is simple: to help people grow in their relationship with God, strengthen families, develop leaders, support young people, and serve communities with compassion.

The ministry seeks to create places where people can hear the Gospel, receive encouragement, build healthy relationships, develop their abilities, and find meaningful opportunities to serve others.

Through local ministry leaders who faithfully serve their communities, this work continues to create opportunities for encouragement, learning, fellowship, and service.
