Home Fellowship & Pastoral Care

Purpose

To provide spiritual care, encouragement, and pastoral support to individuals and families in need through personal visits at homes, hospitals, and community settings.

Why This Matters

Many refugees, families, and individuals face isolation, trauma, or hardship and lack access to spiritual support. These visits bring comfort, guidance, and hope, helping participants experience God’s presence in their daily lives. The program strengthens faith, builds trust, and fosters resilient communities in refugee settings.

What We Do

  • Conduct home and hospital visits to provide prayer, encouragement, and pastoral care
  • Offer guidance, Scripture reading, and support tailored to individual and family needs
  • Facilitate connection and care between children, youth, and adults in multicultural or refugee communities
  • Provide voluntary and free sessions, ensuring accessibility for all participants

Impact

Participants feel supported, strengthened in faith, and encouraged in times of difficulty. Families and individuals report renewed hope, comfort, and a sense of community through personal visits. For example:
“Having someone visit and pray with us gave my family hope in difficult times,” shared a family in Kakuma Refugee Camp. These visits not only strengthen individual faith but also create a ripple effect of encouragement and support across families and communities.
