Discipleship Multiplication & Church Planting
To win people to Christ, equip new believers to follow Christ’s Great Commission by discipling others, and train them to transform their communities through faith and compassionate action. IGRM guides participants in multiplying disciples so that each new believer becomes a disciple-maker who impacts their community.
Why This Matters
Many communities, including refugee camps and underserved areas, lack trained disciple-makers and opportunities for believers to grow spiritually. Without discipleship multiplication, faith remains stagnant and communities remain unreached. This program intentionally develops new believers into disciple-makers, establishes small worship and prayer groups, and grows these groups into thriving IGRM congregations.
What We Do
- Win people to Christ and nurture new believers in foundational faith
- Train new believers to disciple others, multiplying their spiritual influence
- Facilitate small worship and prayer groups for spiritual formation and community building
- Mentor participants to grow these small groups into local IGRM churches or congregations
- Provide guidance for contextual discipleship to reach diverse cultural and social environments
Impact
Participants become new disciples, disciple-makers, and community-transforming agents. Many start small groups that grow into local churches, spreading faith and service throughout their communities.
“I shared Christ with my neighbors and started a small group. Today, we have three groups meeting weekly and more disciple-makers rising,” shared Jules from Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya.
“Our small fellowship became a local congregation! Now the believers I trained are discipling others, spreading faith and service,” added Beatrice from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
