Children’s Ministries
Purpose
To nurture spiritual growth, moral development, and joy in children through Bible stories, songs, prayer, moral lessons, and interactive activities. Saturday and Sunday sessions provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn, play, and grow in faith.
Why This Matters
Children are not just tomorrow’s leaders—they are today’s treasure. Many grow up without access to spiritual guidance, or proper care. This program brings hope, love, and opportunity into young lives, guiding them to grow into kind, confident, and Christ-centered individuals. By planting seeds of faith early, we help children build a foundation for lifelong growth in character, knowledge, and ethical living.
What We Do
- Teach Bible stories, moral lessons, and Scripture memory programs
- Lead songs, prayer, and interactive games for spiritual formation and joy
- Organize sessions in local churches and community spaces, ensuring children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment
- Facilitate interaction between children of different cultures and nations in refugee settings or multicultural environments
- Equip children to grow in mind, body, and spirit while fostering a love for God and community
Impact
Children experience spiritual formation, develop ethical and Christ-centered values, and gain confidence in their abilities. Refugee children aged 6–14 participate in sessions that cultivate joy, learning, and fellowship. For example:
“I love coming to Children’s Ministries every Saturday! I learn Bible stories, play with friends, and pray together. I now help my younger siblings memorize Scripture,” shared Amina, a participant in Kakuma Refugee Camp. “I never knew I could sing and pray in a group. Now I lead my friends in our Sunday games and lessons,” added Thierry, from a village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
